Internship in Cybersecurity Research
intWave runs a unique internship program that prepares students for work in
the field of Cybersecurity while providing them with the chance to perform
research in Embedded Systems Security, Application Security or Cloud Security topics. Research results will make it to public advisories, open source tools, open hardware projects, research papers and/or conference presentations.
The internship program starts with training activities in computer security
fundamentals and security assessment procedures, and then continues to
research tasks on a selected topic.
The work will be conducted remotely, with occasional meetings in Athens for team coordination and socialization activities.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year from students registered on the ATLAS program. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows:
- Software development skills in C/C++ and Python
- Basic knowledge of x86_64 or ARM64 Assembly
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration
- Good understanding of modern computer architecture
- Good understanding of modern operating system design principles
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Good understanding of applied cryptography principles
- Familiarity with Network Security and Application Security topics
- English speaking and writing skills
